Lucy lives in Ealing, London with her family and her two dogs. She was a primary school teacher and then a teacher of the deaf before starting her own small educational company. She has worked with many schools arranging and planning book-based events and projects, all with the aim of encouraging children to develop a lifelong love of reading.

Sarah Surgey is a children's author who is based in Bath. She comes from a teaching and children's mental health charity background. This inevitably has found its way into her books. Sarah's picture books are often used as resources when helping children either understand their own emotions or to gain empathy for others. She is also a mum to 4 daughters, an avid bookworm of Nordic Noir crime thrillers and is in her happy place when travelling around Europe!
